Heraldic Coathardie, Spring Crown List May,
2008
Very happy with how this one turned out!
And here is a montage of my obsession
with the Coathardie.........
Opening ceremonies
at Pennsic 2008....
Mine is a white linen coathardie for the
under-dress and a black linen sideless
surcoate with a red linen border. I did
appliqué velvet coronets and white silk
roses on mine.
Havordh's has ram's heads are also in silk.
really like how they turned out.
The second photo is from evening Court
at GA Fall Crown List 2008. There was a
bit of schtick around a banner from
Ansteorra :-).

green shot silk with gold embroidered fleur de lis.
Gambison and Coathardie for Gulf Wars 18
His Gambison was quilted by be (on a machine, but still took forever) then machine embroidered the crowns and rams. My
outfit is a cotton velveteen with appliqué roses and crowns in ivory velveteen, and green velveteen for the vines, with beading
all over the darn place. I have gold silk undersleeves that are pin-tucked and beaded as well. These were both VERY labor
intensive, but I am quite pleased with the result. Need some close up shots of the beading!
