The Mrs. International Pageant, the premier event for today's Married
woman is thrilled to announce that Nancy-Ellen Martin has been chosen
as Mrs. Louisiana International 2010 and will representing her state at
Mrs. International July 16th and 17th in Chicago, Illinois.

Beginning 22 years ago, Mrs. International® was developed to have
higher standards than other pageant systems. The focus behind Mrs.
International® is to showcase women 21 to 56 years old, married at
least six months and a resident of the state or a citizen of the country
she represents.  Each contestant competes in Interview Competition,
which is valued for 50% of her overall score, Evening Gown, valued for
25% and Fitness Wear for 25%. Each contestant has the opportunity to
select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting.
Husbands are a direct part of the show, escorting their wives in the
Evening Gown competition, and the husband crowns his wife titleholder.

Nancy-Ellen is a resident of Covington, Louisiana and she and her
husband Brian are the proud parents of 4 Children. Nancy-Ellen is the
Vice President of Member Services for TurboSquid, a New
Orleans-based company, and she manages employees in 3 countries.
Her husband Brian is a teacher at Mandeville High School.

Nancy-Ellen will be focused on several efforts in her community while
serving at Mrs. Louisiana. She has worked with the Society for Creative
Anachronism for the past 15 years to help encourage a love of history
in kids through speaking in schools and living history demonstrations.
Nancy-Ellen is also thrilled to support the Mrs. International system's
relationship with Go Red for Women, the American Heart Association's
drive to get women educated about the importance of Heart Health.
Finally, Nancy-Ellen is very excited to work with an organization that has
done a lot in post-Katrina Louisiana, as well as across the country,
Habitat for Humanity. Nancy-Ellen is working on putting together a team
to work on one of the Habitat houses and will continue to do what she
can to support their efforts over the coming year.

Mrs. Louisiana is available for appearances. Please find more
